The Trail Runner II USB from Silva is the company’s update to the award-winning Trail Runner Light. The most recognisable development in the new model is its USB capability, which means you can charge it from your computer at work so it is fully ready for your commute home.
In addition, the improved output of 140 lumen means visibility is increased, with the light emitted now allowing you to see to a distance of 50m. The headlamp has four light settings that are easily interchangeable and provides close beam and long distance spot light to suit your run.
The strengths of the Silva Trail Runner II USB are now adjustable to suit different head sizes. Coming in at just 70 grams, it's lightweight and comfortable too.
Like its earlier incarnation, Silva has produced a headlamp that will undoubtedly be one of the market leaders in 2014; its technological advancements has allowed for increased visibility, comfort and means the product is even more user-friendly than before.
With its focus on safe running, Silva has also introduced the Visibility jacket and vest, designed for runners and riders, to make sure they can be seen when on the roads. They include a reflective panel, made from breathable mesh and have fleece lined pockets to keep batteries warm in cold weather.
The jacket and vest also include small loops on the chest and back that can be used to secure cables for head-torches or headphones, and an additional 3 mesh pockets on the lower back allow maps and energy gels or other items to be carried and secured.
