Lions 7.5k and 2.0k Tartan Runs

The tartan runs are organised by the Garioch Lions are in aid of Garioch Carriage Driving for Disabled Group and other local charities. There will be two runs a 7.5k run and a 2k run both of which will be run mainly off road and follow in part the routes taken by the disabled carriage drivers on their Wednesday morning and Thursday evening driving. The runs will start at 1pm with registration from 12 noon at the Lions BBQ stall. All ages are welcome for either run although the shorter run is more suitable for the very young who will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Sponsorship forms and further details are available from the organiser. Runners who do not have sponsorship can pay a registration fee on the day of £10 for the 7.5k and £3 for the 2k run.

All runners will receive a medal on completion and all runners completing the runs will receive a Garioch Lions Tartan Run Tee-shirt. We are hoping all runners will try to wear something tartan to make this a really colourful event.
