Gate to Gate 5K Fun Run
Be part of the first Castle Gate to Gate - 5km fun run. This brand new annual event is based in the beautiful grounds of Brodick Castle on the Isle of Arran.
Castle Gate to Gate 5km is on Saturday 28 June 2014 and starts at 12:30pm. This gives day visitors enough time to travel over by ferry in plenty of time for the start of the event.
The fun run takes place on the Castle drive - well away from traffic. The start line is at the Castle visitors car park, fun runners set off and head down towards the main entrance castle gate, then turn and head back up along castle drive and down towards the castle exit gate. There is a water station at the 3km. From the castle exit gate turn and follow the drive back up to the car park for the finish line at 5km. All runners must run on the right hand side!
All runners receive a medal and goody bags at the finish.
