Bark in the Park

Dog lovers will have an opportunity to run with their pooches at a 6K and 12K in Strathclyde Country Park on 29 November. Bark in the Park will be held to raise funds for Nicola Murray Foundation, Diabetes UK and Staffordshire Rescue Scotland.

If you don't have a dog no problem

For anyone who would like to run without a dog there is a reduced rate for runners only of £6 per person. Please leave a donation as well for Staffordshire Rescue Scotland on the day.

Medals will be awarded to competitors and dogs will receive an unique gift and toy after the race. The event is non-timed and participants are required to have their dogs on a lead at all times. All kinds of leads are accepted providing the dog is safe and secure. There will also be a bin provided for any food or toy donations to Staffordshire Rescue Scotland for their dogs/puppies over the Christmas period. Entries cost £10 per person including dog (£6 without a dog ). If you wish to bring an additional dog, it will cost an extra £5.

Two stalls will also be there offering free protein shakes & selling items where 15% of sales will go to the Staffordshire rescue.
