Following the cancellation of last weekend’s British Heart Foundation Winter Warmer event in Glasgow, organisers are inviting runners to head to Edinburgh for their Winter Warmer event in Holyrood Park on Sunday (22 November). The decision was taken to cancel the Glasgow Winter Run due to rain flooding the course and alternative routes.
Warm Welcome For Glasgow Runners
Organisers are encouraging runners of all ages and abilities to beat the winter blues by joining in a 5.2k or 10.4k run, jog or walk around the iconic Arthur's Seat. There, they’ll be able to enjoy the to breathtaking scenery of Holyrood Park. It’s not just two-legged runners who are invited as both routes are also dog friendly.
Online registration has now closed but you can still sign up for the event on the day. The cost for adult entry is £20 and under-18s can enter for £5.
