The team at Greaves Sports christened their new adidas Boost area earlier this week with a visit from top sprinter Warren Weir, bronze medallist at the London Olympics. The Jamaican flyer took time out before tonight's 200m final in the Commonwealth Games at Hampden to visit Greaves' Gordon Street store and meet the public. Warren took selfies and signed Jamaican flags as he viewed the Greaves' adidas Boost facility.
Stephen McCranor, Greaves Sports communications director, told scottishrunningguide.com: "The dedicated Boost area in the Gordon Street store is a reflection of our belief in adidas' Boost technology. The Boost area features an amazing gravitram which demonstrates to runners the benefits of adidas’ Boost soles over standard EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) soles."
