The British Heart Foundation will be hosting a couple of Winter Warmer races to help beat off the winter blues for runners in Edinburgh this October. The races, taking place on Halloween, will be a 10K and 5K in the beautiful surroundings of Holyrood Park and Arthurs Seat in Edinburgh.
Organisers are asking people to run, walk or jog the courses, which offer gorgeous views across Scotland's Capital city and pass two swan filled ponds. The 10K race will start at 11am, with the 5K following at 11.20 on October 31.
Entrants are asked to raise just £20 in sponsorship to take part, all of which will go towards the British Heart Foundation in supporting the nation's heart charity's work saving lives through pioneering research, patient care, campaigning for change and providing vital equipment and information.
