The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is this weekend holding a Winter Warmer event on Sunday, with runners able to take part in a 5K or 10K race in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh. The fun event aims to keep people active over the winter and help raise money towards the fantastic work done by the BHF.
The races will take place on Sunday October 31, at 11am in Holyrood Park under predicted sunny skies, with runners experiencing spectacular views on the route through the park and around Arthur's Seat. Participants are invited to walk, jog or run around the course, with prizes for the best Halloween fancy dress outfits, as well as the highest fundraiser.
All finishers will receive a medal and a t-shirt and refreshments will be available to runners and spectators. If you have not yet entered, entries cost £10 and runners are asked to raise £20 sponsorship.
