Urbanathlon is coming back to Scotland in 2011, with two races confirmed, in Glasgow and Edinburgh. The Glasgow race will be a 7K obstacle course at Linn Park on June 12, with the Edinburgh race taking in 10K around Arthur's Seat on September 25.
The 2010 races raised in excess of £20,000 for Chest, Heart, Stroke Scotland, with more than 700 runners wading, jumping and crawling their way around the courses. The races are part of a bigger Urbanathlon series, which will include two 5K races in Manchester and London in 2011.
All money raised from the Scottish events will go to Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland, with runners asked to pay £12 to enter and raise a further £40. Entries are now open for the 2011 races, for more information and to enter, visit the Urbanathlon Scotland website.
