University and college students will be able to pit their wits against each other again as the ‘University Challenge’ returns for a second year at the Great Scottish Run on Sunday 4 October. The challenge was introduced last year with Edinburgh University Hare and Hounds, Glasgow University Hare and Hounds, and Dundee University all vying for the top spot.

The Great Scottish Run will sees thousands of participants start at George Square in the heart of Glasgow, following the iconic 10k and half marathon routes through the city before they enter Glasgow Green and reach the tree lined finish straight in the shadow of Nelson’s Monument.
