Thinking about your next running challenge? Think about The Push!
The Push is Scotland’s toughest outdoor challenge event, over the stunning Pentland Hills, on Edinburgh’s doorstep.
Taking place on Saturday 10 September, The Push has three routes - bronze (14 miles), silver (20 miles) and gold (26.2 miles). Running any of the routes will make for an incredible experience. Setting off with the sun rise, conquering well-known hills, and running over the finish line to crowds of people cheering especially for you.
The wilderness of the Pentland Hills gives time for you to get in the zone, your only distractions being the amazing views, the local wildlife, and the food and drink stops. On The Push, you will discover the hills whilst you discover yourself.
Nadine Peirce, participant in The Push 2015, says: “If a marathon is on your bucket list or even if you'd never considered one before - then this is definitely the way to do it. The Push is a stunning route through the beautiful Pentland Hills, with a great bunch of people!”
So put your best foot forward and take on The Push – by doing so you’ll support Edinburgh’s independent palliative care provider, St Columba’s Hospice. For more information go to the event website.
