There is still time to get involved in the 2017 Reindeer Dash at Bellahouston Park on Sunday (3 December). This fantastic event will help raise funds for Sense Scotland.
Of course, Santa’s reindeer have to keep fit to be able to pull his sleigh with all those toys for girls and boys – so what better way to get into shape than putting on your antlers and taking on the 5K? You’ll be rewarded at the end with a goody bag for all your hard work.
The start and finish line is at the Bellahouston Drive end of the park and there will also be a Toddler Dash, which is open to kids on the day. Donations are welcome instead of an entry fee.
Entry is priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children, Sense Scotland ask that all 5k runners aim for a sponsorship target of £100, however if with only a few days to go if you feel like this is unachievable don’t hesitate as you can still raise your funds and send Sense Scotland your donation at a later date.
Spectators are encouraged to get along and cheer on the reindeer runners too, with the route circling half of the park.
Sense Scotland successfully support thousands of disabled people and their families, in projects and services, throughout the country.
