Online entries have now closed for Sunday's (10 April) Glenlivet 10K, but you can still register for the race, billed as ‘the most beautiful run in Scotland’, on the day.
The field will include four runners from Texas and four from Sweden – so there will be a real cosmopolitan feel to the race. The course follows quiet country roads which meander around the River Livet passing ancient castles and providing amazing views of this secret glen. The event start and finish are based at the legendary Glenlivet Distillery.
Runners of all abilities and ages are welcome and every participant receives a special event medal, a memento and a copy of the latest edition of runABC Scotland. All proceeds from the Glenlivet 10K go to supporting Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland’s (CHSS) services – improving the quality of life for people in Scotland affected by chest, heart and stroke illness.
The event is a finalist in the best 10k category for the UK Running Awards on 22 April at the O2 Arena in London. For more information visit the event website.
