Entries for the popular Polaroid Eyewear 10k Road Race series are now open; it will be the 26th staging of the competition. The event, which is the UK's longest running road race series, begins in Helensburgh on Thursday, May 17.
Established in 1987 through collaboration between enthusiasts and members of local clubs, the series has become one of the most popular on the circuit and has witnessed over 1000 runners taking part in individual events.
Following on from the inaugural race in Helensburgh, the series will continue to Clydebank on May 24, Dumbarton on May 31, and will finish on Vale of Leven on June 10. There will also be a 5k Fun Run in Loch Lomond on the same date as the Vale of Leven race.
Pricing remains competitive at £15 per race for 10K single events (£13 for SAL affiliated) with a buy three get one free offer for the Series. Entrants will pay only £45 for all 4 races (£39 for SAL affiliated) and with that will get to choose either a technical series t-shirt OR a pair of Polaroid sports sunglasses.
