Almost 800 runners took part in the City of Stirling 10K on Sunday with four competitors managing impressive sub 30min times. Shettleston Harriers celebrated a triple success, taking first, second and third place in the men's race.
Tsegezeab Woldemichael took first place in a time of 29:28, with team mates Teweldeberhan Mengisteab and last year's winner Tsegai Tewelde close behind and only a second apart, in 29:36 and 29:37. Also achieving a sub 30 minute time was Andrew Douglas of Inverclyde AC, in 29:46.
Winning the women's race was Sarah Inglis of Lothian RC in a time of 34:30, followed by Jennifer MacLean of Edinburgh AC and Fiona Matheson of Falkirk Victoria Harriers in 34:38 and 34:44. Finishing things off, were Fiona and Craig Allen in 1:17:56, with the mid point runner, Migual Merayo of Central AC finishing in 47:27.
