Run 'n' Park For Mental Health

Run n ParkRunners are being encouraged to head to Balloch Country Park on Saturday (10 October) to celebrate World Mental Health Day at the Balloch Run 'n' Park event. The event features a 2K and 5K, starting just inside the main gates of the park on Balloch Road.

World Mental Health Day is to help raise awareness of what can be done to ensure people with mental health problems can live with dignity. Run 'n' Park presents a great opportunity to promote the use of greenspace as a means to improve mental health and wellbeing by going out for a walk, jog or run. Organised by West Dunbartonshire Athletic Club, the event’s scenic route takes in views of the Walled Garden, Balloch Castle and Loch Lomond.

There is no registration, no fee and no official recording of times, you just turn up for a run in the park. The course will be marked out with directional signs and supported by limited stewarding around the course.
