The events team at the Princes Trust is looking ahead to a busy spring as they prepare for their first presence at Edinburgh Marathon Festival. Events manager Lucy Wright told scottishrunnningguide. com: "Everyone at the Princes Trust is really excited about the new involvement with the big Edinburgh event.
"The Princes Trust has centres in Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh and we're very active across the whole of Scotland. Our work in helping young people to get into jobs, education or training is vital and we're looking to recruit supporters who will run for us in both the marathon and half marathon at Edinburgh on Sunday 25 May.
"Running in the Trust's red vest means you will be helping to create a better future for young people across the country. If you've been thinking about taking part in one of the Edinburgh races then signing up for the Prince's Trust might just be the extra motivation you need to make it happen.
"We'll support you all the way to race day with training and fundraising advice and cheer you on at Edinburgh on 25 May. We'd really love to have you, and your friends, on the team."
