Bark Run

Flying dogDog lovers will have an opportunity to run with their pooches at a 6K and 12K in Strathclyde Country Park on 29 November. Bark in the Park will be held to raise funds for Nicola Murray Foundation, Diabetes UK and Staffordshire Rescue Scotland.

The event isn’t exclusively for four-legged fans though, you can also enter the race without a dog. Medals will be awarded to competitors and both runners and dogs will receive a goody bag after the race. The event is non-timed and participants are required to have their dogs on a lead at all times. All kinds of leads are accepted providing the dog is safe and secure.
There will also be a bin provided for any food or toy donations to Staffordshire Rescue Scotland for their dogs/puppies over the Christmas period. Entries cost £10 per person, which includes the entry fee for one dog only. If you wish to bring an additional dog, it will cost an extra £5.

For more information, visit organisers the DB12Run’s website. Entries are available at Entry Central
