The 2014 Men's 10K Festival will include two new races as the event looks to cater for runners of all abilities. The festival takes place on Father's Day weekend (14/15 June), and will feature a kids' 3K and a Men's 5K as well as the annual 10K and Rascal Run (1K).
The 5k is part of the jogscotland challenges series and will take place alongside the 3k on the Saturday at Bellahouston Park.
Event organisers said: "We just wanted to add in some extra options for guys who aren't feeling up to a 10k yet, whether they're on their way up to 10k, on their way back from injury, or maybe, just maybe, (we know some of you guys are up for a challenge!) you may want to do both!"
The men's 10K will take place on the Sunday alongside the Rascal Run in association with Yorkhill Children's Charity.
To help runners prepare for the 10k, there will be two training events - a 3.33k on 22 February, and a 6.66k on 26 April. The venue for these events is still to be confirmed.
Registration is now open for the Men's Health 10K Festival with early bird discounts available. For more information, go to the event website.
