Hunters Bog Trotter Murray Strain led home a field of 382 runners at Wednesday evening's Auld Toun 10K Road Race in Dunfermline, setting a new course record of 31:36 at the Pittencrief Park race.
The event was a fantastic success, with a record number of runners taking part on the day, more than 100 more than in last year's race.
Unattached runner, Katherine Brownlee, was the convincing winner of the ladies race, with a superb time of 38:23, while Ellis McKechnie (HBT) came in second with a time of 40:20. Second in the men's race was Keith Hood of Corstorphine AC, with a great time of 32:16.
The Carnegie Harriers swept the board in the team awards, winning the men's award from Pitreavie AAC by 12 points, and the ladies coming out top with a fantastic 20 points.
Bringing up the rear was Jane Moss and the mid point runner was Ian Hill with a time of 50:13. Full results can be found here.
