The countdown is on to Scotland’s muddiest challenge, with less than a month till the Muddy Trials returns to Kilmarnock’s Craufurdland Estate. Hundreds of runners from across Scotland and beyond will take on the challenging 5k and 10k courses on Sunday 19 March.
The event sees participants head around the scenic estate, over challenging terrain and through lots of mud. For kids there’s the ‘Muddy Mile’ – a chance for youngsters to get into the mud too. Children of all ages are welcome (with parental supervision) - over a short, but still extremely muddy course for little legs.
You can book your place at the Muddy Trials' website by Friday 17 March or you can sign up on the day.
All finishers will receive a goody bag, and there are individual and team prizes on offer too. For more information go to the Craufurdland Muddy Trials Facebook page, and follow the event on Twitter.
