Moray Marathon, the oldest marathon in Scotland, has been saved from cancellation following Glen Moray Distillery's agreement to continue with the race. The event has been held in Elgin for the last 32 years but was under threat of being cancelled following the event committee's decision to step down last year.
The event includes a half marathon and 10k, with each distance featuring new routes this year. It will be held on Sunday 7 September 2014. Further details of the revised race day programme and entry details will be be available at scottishrunningguide.com soon.
