MND Scotland wants you on their team. They have charity places for both Stirling Marathon and Edinburgh Marathons and they will support you all the way to the finish line. They also want you on their team in the fight against MND.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressing terminal illness, which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. MND can rob someone of the ability to walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe unaided.
The average life expectancy from diagnosis of this cruel disease is just 20 months. 53% of people die within one year of diagnosis and only 6.5% live for more than five years after diagnosis. There is no cure or effective treatment.
MND Scotland is here to offer practical, financial and emotional support to people affected by MND across Scotland, as well as funding vital research to take us closer to a cure for this devastating disease. You can help them by #makingadifference.
All MND runners will receive a technical running vest or T-shirt plus the support of the MND fundraising team from signing up, all the way to the marathon finish line. Best of all you'll get that amazing feeling from completing your marathon challenge and playing your part in a great cause.

Together we can and we will #CureMND.
