New Training Group For Men's 10K

Men's 10KA new group has been set up by West Dunbartonshire AC to help runners prepare for this year's Men's 10K on 21 June. The group will meet weekly (Tuesday - 6.30pm), starting 28 April at the running track in Posties Park in Dumbarton. 

There will also be supported training on at the Balloch Run’n’Park 5k (Saturday) which starts at 9.30am.  Full details at the event website.

The programme aims to raise the profile of men’s health and encourage men to exercise more for their mental and physical wellbeing. The eight-week programme will be used as a catalyst to develop participation in running. Due to time restrictions before the event, participants must be able to run continuously for at least 35 minutes or have completed a 5k.
