The Men's 10K returns this year with events being held in both Glasgow and Edinburgh for the first time. Entries open on Thursday (26 March), with the Glasgow event taking place on 21 June and the Edinburgh race on 1 November.
Men's 10K Set For Glasgow And Edinburgh
The event's future looked to be in doubt last year due to a lack of funding but since then GSi Events have taken over the organising and, with the addition of the Edinburgh event, are hoping to make it an even bigger success.
The Men's 10K in Glasgow will see participants celebrate Father's Day by running around the heart of Glasgow from the Riverside Musuem to Glasgow Green. The Edinburgh 10K will see competiors gear up for International Men's Day by running around the capital, from the Royal Mile to BT Murrayfield Stadium.
Organisers say: "Not only are these events fantastic 10K timed runs but they also provide a proactive and challenging way to engage men in healthy physical activity and to promote health and wellbeing all year round. So, why not encourage a group of friends and family to join you or bring the kids along? (as long as they’re over 15 years old). Remember, if you snooze, you lose!"
Those who enter before 5 April will receive a discounted entry. Entries are now open. For more information and to enter, visit the event website.
