Kyle 10 Miles returns on Saturday 9 September. Held on Argyll’s Secret Coast, a little known area of natural beauty just two hours from Glasgow, the Kyles 10 Miles is viewed by many as Scotland’s most scenic road race. You can walk or run the stunning ten-mile circular route around the Ardlamont peninsula on Scotland’s west coast.
The secluded coastal road takes you through rolling hills and woodland copses and past beautiful beaches. The views to Arran, Kintyre and Bute are simply breathtaking. The course combines inclines, descents and long flat straights all amid spectacular Scottish scenery.
The Kyles 10 Miles is a real community affair and you can expect a hearty welcome, a friendly vibe and fantastic hospitality at the finish line. The Kames Hotel runs a BBQ at the end of the race to provide much needed fuel and there's a legendary evening ceilidh for those who are still standing.
Chip timing, wicking T-shirts, race commentary and great goodie bags all add to the day. And why not make a weekend of it? There’s lots to see and do on Argyll’s Secret Coast, as well as fantastic places to stay and eat.
Race numbers are limited to 400 runners and 100 walkers.
The Kyles 10 Miles is sponsored by The Forrest Group and is Scottish Athletics affiliated.
