Kilomathon Scotland returns to Edinburgh for its ninth edition on Sunday (9 April). Starting at Ocean Terminal and finishing in BT Murrayfield Stadium, Kilomathon offers three unique race distances – a 13.1K, 6.55K and 2.62K (Mini Kilomathon).
Kilomathon Kicks Off
The routes go along Edinburgh’s beautiful and tranquil cycle paths, passing by the historic Royal Yacht Britannia and the picturesque Victoria Park before a breathtaking finish in front of the West Stand in BT Murrayfield Stadium. The 13.1K is billed as a great training distance for runners stepping up to a full or half marathon from a 10K, and equally the 6.5K bridges the gap between 5K and 10K.
Last year’s event saw more than 2000 runners taking part in gloriously sunny weather. Participants will be hoping for more of the same this weekend. Entries are now closed but for more information, visit the Kilomathon website.
