The Killin 10K returns for its sixth year tomorrow (27 August) and will see a sellout field take part in the race. The event is held in the picturesque village of Killin, Perthshire.
The route takes runners over the spectacular River Dochart Bridge and down Main Street before heading out of the village. The middle 6km takes in a beautiful and slightly undulating loop around Glen Lochay before returning to the village and finishing in Breadalbane Park with the backdrop of the Tarmachan mountain range. The first and last 2km allows runners to pick up the pace as they are slightly downhill or flat. The event will also feature a 1k fun run.
All finishers in the 10k and fun run events will earn a medal and refreshments. The 10k event is chip-timed and results will be available immediately after runners finish.
