British 1990's sprint ace Jamie Baulch is in Glasgow tomorrow (Thursday, March 31). Baulch, who won gold at 400m at the 1999 World Indoor Championships and World gold and Olympic silver with the GB 4 x 400 metres relay team, will be visiting Greaves Sports in Gordon Street from 11.00-2.00pm.
Jamie will be meeting customers, giving training and competition advice, and taking questions on his Olympic career. Customers might ask Jamie about the high points of a career which saw the Welsh star excel indoors or what it was like training with Linford Christie. Baulch could also be asked about recent advances in equipment and what he considers the biggest improvements since his time as a competitive athlete.
Jamie will also be launching Halo, the sports wash product, which is billed as 'a breakthrough in liquid laundry detergent, designed to remove sweat and odours from sports clothing at temperatures as low as 30C'.
Manufacturers tell us that Halo Non Bio Laundry liquid kills the bacteria which are trapped in the weave of the fabric thus allowing the clothing to breathe.
Find out more about Jamie Baulch's career and his thoughts on the modern world of sport at Greaves Sports in Gordon Street (Glasgow) from 11.00-2.00pm tomorrow (Thursday, March 31).
