Running enthusiast James Ellis and his friends have banded together to create iRun, an online resource for runners. iRun brings you blogs from top runners, product reviews and regular podcasts. James tells us more ...
Whether you're running a mile or a hundred miles, the notion is the same, there is always a start and a finish. It's the bits in between and around your goals that decide how far and how fast.
There will be tough paths on your journey, questions will be asked, and doubts will develop but the most important part is that you 'Live Every Step'. Earlier this year a group of keen runners launched i-run.co.uk with the aim of providing runners like you with a vibrant website packed with expert opinions on all aspects of running, from race-day tips for beginner runners to top advice from elite sports practitioners.
During our running careers we have been fortunate enough to work with some of Britain's finest professionals across a variety of fields and it's our aim to share these experiences and knowledge pool to help give you the edge to go above and beyond your goals, whether it be tweaking your training schedule or providing some expert injury rehab advice.
We use a wide array of multimedia including text, videos, and audio to bring you a huge range of opinions and information about the sport we all love so much.
So why are we different? Well, our team has been lucky enough to experience the sport at a variety of levels whilst travelling and competing across the world. We've met some incredible athletes, coaches and sports practitioners at the pinnacle of their respective professions. These experiences have enabled us to build a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of the running subculture and, combined with unrivalled enthusiasm, it's our passion to use these factors to encourage runners of all abilities every step of the way!
