International hill and mountain runner Angela Mudge will host a unique event next month at the Tiso Outdoor Experience store in Glasgow. The Scottish star will be providing the audience with an insight into hill running in the UK and abroad on Saturday, March 17.
After beginning her hill running career while a postgraduate student in Scotland in the 1990s as an alternative to the track, Angela went on to win the Scottish Championships on three occasions. In 2007, Angela was the first female home in the Everest Marathon, and in the process set a new course record of just over 5 hours.
More recently, the Scottish runner co-authored the World's Ultimate Running Races, which compiles 500 of the most challenging and classic races across 101 countries.
The evening takes place at 7pm on March 17, with tickets priced at £10. For more information on the event, ask in store at Tiso.
