Organisers of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival have teamed up with Nuffield Health & Wellbeing to provide runners with two opportunities to receive professional advice on every aspect of race preparation for any event! The free workshops will be held in Edinburgh on 28 October and Glasgow on 30 October.
The workshops will focus on training plans, nutrition, injury treatment and prevention and tips on how to stay motivated as well as offers from Run and Become and Nuffield Health & Wellbeing. Doors open at 6pm for a 6:30pm start.
The sessions will finish with an optional guided run where participants can stretch their legs and chat to others. As it will be dark, organisers advise you to bring along a head torch.
The 13th Edinburgh Marathon Festival will take place on 30/31 May next year and over 30,000 runners are expected to take part. The event features seven races including a marathon, half marathon, team relay, 10k, 5k and junior races.
The full format of the workshops can be found at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival website.
