The Men’s 10K is returning to Edinburgh on Sunday 6 November just ahead of International Men’s Day, after a hugely successful debut in the Scottish capital last year. Starting at 10am on the Royal Mile, this stunning city centre 10k passes by many of Edinburgh’s most iconic landmarks including the Scott Monument, Holyrood Palace and Dynamic Earth before heading back through the Grassmarket and onto a grandstand finish at BT Murrayfield Stadium.
The Men’s 10K is not a race against the clock; it’s not about hammering a 10K in the quickest possible time. The event was founded by the Men’s Health Forum Scotland as a focal point for raising awareness of men’s health issues. The first event took place in Glasgow in 2004 and since then, it has firmly established itself as a must-do event for thousands of men across Scotland. The ultimate aim of the Men’s 10K is to be a catalyst for addressing men’s health issues whether they be physical or mental, and to inspire men to become a fitter, healthier version of themselves!
