Edinburgh Marathon is set to sell out for a seventh consecutive year, however there is still time to enter the big race on Sunday 28 May with standard entries closing at midnight on Sunday (8 January).
The event will attract thousands of runners from the UK and beyond to take part in one of the flattest and fastest marathons the UK has to offer. Organisers are encouraging runners to sign up before the standard entries close. After this time, you can still enter the marathon with a charity place, or choose to participate in the increasingly popular Edinburgh Half Marathon instead.
Edinburgh Marathon Festival takes place on 27–28 May. There are nine race distances to choose from over the two days, with something for all ages and abilities. Find out more and enter online at the event website.
