The closing date for earlybird entries to jogscotland's 5k challenge series has been extended to April 16. The running network, which recently announced a major sponsorship deal with Nuffield Health, will host the first 5k on Wednesday, June 6, at Hazehlead Park in Aberdeen.
The 5k run at Aberdeen is one of seven events organised by jogscotland this June. Each race takes palace on a midweek evening and is suitable for all levels of runner, jogger and walker. Junior fun runs are held before each 5k so participants can bring the whole family along.
Each event will be supported by an expert team from Nuffield Health consisting of fitness professionals, physiotherapists and psychologists who will deliver a warm-up before the run and offers sports massage afterwards.
To sign up for the Nuffield Health jogscotland events, visit their website. The early bird rate means you can register for as little as £10.
