35 year old Rangers and Scotland footballer Christian Dailly has signed up for this year's Men's Health Forum Scotland (MHFS) 10k on Sunday, June 21.
Dailly, who started his career as an 18 year old with Dundee United, is obviously determined to stay in good shape over the summer months and is looking forward to the big event. Christian Dailly follows in the footsteps of ex-Rangers manager Paul Le Guen, who took part in the Great Scottish Run (half-marathon) during his short-lived stay in Glasgow.
Now in its fourth year organisers are hoping for an entry of around 5,000 for the all-male race which is seen by many as the partner event of the Ignis Asset Management Women's 10k held in may. Enter on-line at www.mhfs.org.uk for the event which starts and finishes in Bellahouston Park, on the south side of the city.
