2,000 runners will take to the streets of Pafos for the 19th Cyprus Marathon on Sunday 5 March 2017. More than 35 nationalities will be represented at the event, starting at Petra tou Romiou, the birthplace of Aphrodite – the goddess of love and beauty.
The course follows a coastal route along the Mediterranean. Runners will pass by traditional Cypriot villages and sample Mediterranean hospitality with strong support throughout the majority of the race. The marathon finishes at the historic Pafos Medieval Castle Square. For those looking for a less challenging distance, there will be a half marathon, 10k and 5k race.
