Commonwealth Games To Be Shown Across Africa

Millions of sports fans across Africa will be able to experience the excitement and drama of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games following the appointment of SuperSport as the Games' sub-Saharan broadcast rights holder. The deal means the Games will be shown across the continent from Botswana to Ghana, Kenya to Madagascar and Namibia to Uganda - reaching more than five million viewers across 20 channels.

SuperSport's distribution reaches all 19 African Commonwealth nations and territories competing in Glasgow. The Games represent the biggest multi-sport event Scotland has ever hosted with 4,5000 athletes from 71 nations taking part. It is anticipated that a worldwide audience of 1.5 billion will watch the event.
