The Color Run will be coming to Scotland for the first time this summer. The event, billed as the Happiest 5K on the planet, will be held in Glasgow on Sunday 17 July.
Glasgow was originally scheduled to host its first Color Run last year but the event was postponed due to poor numbers. It is hoped that with the series now better established in the UK, there will be a greater interest in 2016.
More than 59,000 took part in Color Runs across the UK in 2016. The Color Run Presented by Skittles is now held in more than 39 countries, with more than five million Color Runners across the globe.
Plus, new for 2016, The Color Run is bringing a tropical twist to the event. Featuring an all-new Tropicolor rainbow zone on the course where participants will be bathed in a tropical array of colours on their way to the finish line. Featuring island-style music and palm trees in the finish festival, runners will be given the chance to live their life in Tropicolor!
Registration is now open for the event. Entries are priced from £24, with individual entries, group entries or the option to purchase an exclusive premium ticket. For more information and to enter, visit the Color Run website.
