Brothers Return To NY Marathon After 35 Years

New York marathonFour Irish brothers are taking on New York Marathon on 1 November, 35 years after completing it. County Tyrone natives, Michael, Frank, Seán, and Brian Quinn, originally ran the race in 1980 and are once again doing so to raise funds for multiple sclerosis charity, MS Ireland.

In 1980, the quartet became the first set of four brothers to run the prestigious marathon together. The brothers have more recent marathon experience to draw on having completed Dublin City Marathon together in 2013.
Frank said: “35 years later we may not manage to do it in the same time as before but our hope is to take part in the marathon once again and raise funds to support people with multiple sclerosis in the process.”
