Not content with watching their team run away with the league, Rangers FC fans will be given the chance to run around Ibrox Stadium at the inaugural True Blue Hero Fun Run on Sunday 17 April. The Rangers Charity Foundation is organising the event which features a 5k, 10k, 2.5k Junior Run and a 2.5k wheelchair event.
Participants are asked to raise at least £50 in sponsorship for the Foundation and everyone who raises more than £100 will also become a True Blue Hero, allowing them access to a special reception to receive a True Blue Hero medal from a Rangers first team player.
Organisers say: “It’s time to get your trainers on and take part in a unique running event at the iconic home of Rangers FC! The Rangers Charity Foundation is organising its first ever True Blue Hero Fun Run, giving you the chance to run around the world famous Ibrox Stadium, finishing with some laps around the pitch itself! Come along and take part in what will be a fun day out at our world famous stadium!”
It costs just £10 to register (£5 for juniors) and a certificate and medal will be awarded to everyone who takes part. For more information, visit the Rangers Charity Foundation website, contact the Rangers Charity Foundation on 0141 580 8775 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
