The sold-out Jimmy Irvine Bella 10K will see a field of 650 compete at the race on Saturday (8 Novermber). Named after Bellahouston Roadrunner founding member, Jimmy Irvine, the race is the biggest club 10k in Glasgow and takes place in Bellahouston Park.
The largely flat course is run entirely on tarmac paths and pavement within the park and surroundings. There will be kilometre markers and one water station on the course just after 5K, with water available at the finish line.
Participants will be rewarded for their efforts afterwards as they head to Mosspark Bowling Club for the club's now famous post-race spread including teas, coffee, soft drinks, sandwiches, and plenty of cake.
Race numbers may be collected from Achilles Heel store in Glasgow on Thursday 6th November between 9:30am and 7:30pm or Friday between 9:30am and 5:30pm. For more information, visit the Bellahouston Road Runners website.
