With consistently positive feedback from runners, the race is expected to attract more than 2,000 competitors to the Highland capital.
Organisers say: “Our sponsors, volunteers, together with our runners, all greatly contribute to an event that has been growing over the past three decades. Its longevity is a testament to the challenge it sets for runners with different goals to pursue. It is an exceptional event in a lovely setting, staged by a great team.
“It’s also worth remembering that no matter what your level is, you can be a winner when you run. Firstly, because the goal is to finish, and secondly, because it’s you against the course and not necessarily the rest of the field. So achieving a personal best time, no matter what it is, represents success.”
