What’s not to like about the Glenlivet 10K?
Organised by health charity Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, the event reaches its ninth anniversary this year on Sunday 8 April. The race welcomes runners of all standards with the maxim ‘it’s all about taking part - not how fast’ and every runner will be helping people who have survived life-changing illness to recover a quality of life.
The event is based at the famous Glenlivet Distillery where the sumptuous ‘Malt Barn’ is provided for registration, refreshments and those amazing 5 star toilets! The circular race route is set on quiet roads surrounding the River Livet and hundreds of returning runners will have a wry smile about the infamous ‘steady incline’ which greets runners at 2K!
There is however an incredible view and team at the top to cheer you on - ‘it’s all downhill from here’.
