DSUK Race The Train

Have you got what it takes to beat the Strathspey Steam Train?

Disability Snowsport UK in association with Cairngorm Runners are organising their second Race the Train event on Saturday 2nd June 2018. This unique running event includes a trip on the Strathspey Steam Train and gives you the additional challenge of not only racing your fellow competitors but also the steam train.

Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) enriches the lives of people with disability, through snowsports and by signing up to our Race the Train event you are helping DSUK break down the physical, social and financial barriers to adaptive snowsports.

This is a 7k trail race within the Cairngorm National Park, from Boat of Garten along the beautiful Speyside Way to Aviemore.  Much of the race, especially the second half, follows the railway track, so if you hear the train coming you'd better sprint for the finish!

Register today to see if you have what it takes to beat the train.

Train departs 10.30 a.m. – Race starts 11.35 a.m. approximately. Entry £20 Scottish Athletics members and £22 for non-members.

Entries open from Monday 5th February 2018 via the Entry Central website.
