Predict Your Time To Win

10 days and counting down to one of Scotland's biggest race days of the year - the Great Scottish Run. To mark the occasion, SCOTTISH RUNNING GUIDE has joined forces with top running brand Mizuno and is offering everyone taking part in the Great Scottish Run the chance to win a fantastic prize. We want you to predict your finish time in either the 10k or half marathon and the runner who gets closest to their prediction will win a pair of top quality Mizuno shoes plus a top spec technical t-shirt. There are prizes for closest male and female runner.
The Great Scottish Run is a double header - the 10k starts at 9.30am while the half marathon starts at 10.30am. Highlights of both races are routes which start at George Square, wind through the city centre before crossing the Kingston Bridge to the south side of the Clyde. Half marathoners head further west taking in both Bellahouston and Pollok Parks although all 17,000 odd runners complete their events with a grandstand finish at Glasgow Green.
It's easy to enter - just note your name, your event and predict your time in the comments section below. Then when you've run if you've come close to your predicted time, note your official time again as a comment and we'll let you know if you're our lucky prizewinner. The prizewinner will be the person whose predicted time is closest to their official Great Scottish Run time. In the event of a tie, SCOTTISH RUNNING GUIDE will randomly select an overall winner.
