Caledonian 100

The event starts at the MacDonald Resort in Aviemore and follows the Speyside Way, past the Boat of Garten arriving at the first checkpoint at Nethy Bridge. The route then follows the Braes of Abernethy and down into checkpoint 2 at Tomintoul. You then follow Glen Avon on through to the tranquility of Loch Builg (checkpoint 3) where we feed you a hot meal. You then leave Loch Builg and head up Culardoch, once you are over this you make your way down to Kielloch (checkpoint 4) and then its a nice flat stretch to the finish at Mar Lodge, near Braemar.

FacilitiesFour checkpoints throughout the route providing access for any support crews. Several water stops throughout the event. Isotonic drinks, hot and cold water available at checkpoints. Full meal available at checkpoint 3. Full changing facilities, toilets and medical support throughout the entire route. Parking available throughout except at Loch Builg checkpoint 3.
