The Moray Mini Mix - Urban and Cross Country Orienteering Races - Forres

An exciting new variation of the sport of orienteering, combining road racing with navigation. Quick thinking is as important as quick running as you have to spot the quickest route around the town between the electronic timing markers. All competitors get a waterproof map showing the course and an electronic timing tag. There are 4 races in one, with two 'road race' style races of around 9 Km and 5 Km, while for those who prefer traditional cross-country orienteering there will also be two cross-country orienteering races, one for children and the other for any age.
