Erskine Bridge Buster 10K
The Erskine Bridge Buster is organised by Jogging Buddies, part of Active Communities, a Social Enterprise registered charity that delivers and supports physical activity, community sport and health and wellbeing across Renfrewshire.
Runners set off from the Erskine Sports Centre and head along the scenic waterfront, before heading through the woods at Booden Boo. Participants will then run across the landmark Erskine Bridge and back, which crosses the River Clyde. The race is run under UK Athletics Rules and is a Scottish Athletics permit event.
Due to parts of the terrain this event is not suitable for walkers, buggies, wheelchairs or dogs. Participants must be aged 15 years old or older on the day of the race.
The organisers are being assisted by an extensive number of voluntary marshals. The safety of all is paramount and it is a condition of entry that competitors must follow the instructions of the marshals.
The race is priced £12 to both affiliated and unaffiliated runners. Places are only available online via Entry Central.
Race Numbers to be collected on the day at the Sports Centre from 9.15am onwards. The race start time is 10.30am.
In the event of postponement we will try to notify competitors by email but please check the website www.activecommunities.co.uk or facebook ACommunities for an update. We will not give refunds if runners are unable to make the new date.
