Bumper Berlin Prize For One Lucky Cycling & Running Show Winner

Alan Cameron, SCROPS 2017 prize winner, in New York

Runners attending the fast-approaching Scottish Cycling, Running & Outdoor Pursuits Show (SCROPS) on Saturday & Sunday 3/4 March will have an amazing prize on offer in the shape of a Berlin Marathon 2018 race package. The prize includes entry to the race, flights and accommodation for the European autumn Marathon Major.

Show organisers have contacted runABC Scotland to invite all our website regulars to head along to the big event and take part in the mystery marathon challenge. It's free to enter and it’s very simple; all you have to do is run a mile on one of the treadmills at the marathon challenge feature and match the mystery time that organisers have selected.

You don't have to be fast, you don't need to have run a marathon (not yet anyway!), you just need to turn up and hit the treadmill. The entrant that runs closest to the mystery time over the weekend will win this amazing prize.

Last year Alan Cameron was the lucky winner matching the winning time of 8 mins 50 seconds. Alan won an all-inclusive trip to New York with flights, three nights accommodation and, most importantly, a slot in NYC Marathon.

Alan (seen in the main picture) had the trip of a lifetime, nailed a respectable time of 4:34 and celebrated in style in New York post-race.

Make sure you take your trainers and try your luck. Someone from the show will be going to Germany and it could be you!
